Frequently Asked Questions.

How long is the initial exam, and what does it involve?

The initial visit typically lasts 30-45 minutes and entails a detailed functional exam, review of past imaging/medical history, accurate diagnosis, report of findings, and treatment plan. The Peak Practitioner will also discuss any other complicating factors that may be present or could potentially become a problem.

What do I wear for the treatments?

We have working therapy, so dress appropriately.

1. Think Workout: Come in your workout clothes.

2. Upper Body Issues: Wear a tank top or some other loose-fitting top.

3. Lower Body Issues: Loose-fitting basketball or running shorts.

How do I know if a Peak Method Provider will be able to help?

If you have any muscle, joint, or nerve problems, then you are a good candidate. This is what we do best. If you have also failed other treatments or haven’t reached your maximum level of improvement, then you are also a good candidate. Our practitioners focus on finding and fixing Scar Tissue, which is a difficult problem to find and even more difficult to fix. Our trained providers can help with this problem, as it is not extensively trained in most Injury treatments. Our type of care is unique, so all potential new clients will need to come in for a comprehensive consultation exam. The consultation is 15 minutes, and the practitioners will briefly discuss your case with you to determine if you are in the right place.

How long are follow-up treatments?

Follow-up visits are 25-30minutes. The goal of any treatment is to get you back to functioning as well as possible without pain and limitation so you will be given specific guidance that you are expected to follow if you want the best resolution to your problem. This is a team approach—not a passive one.

Are there any other treatments that can do the same thing?

The short answer is not exactly. Many manual treatments and instrument treatments seem similar from the patient's perspective, but the proof is in the results. Sustainable improvements in pain and range of motion are the unique differences that give you results.

How long does a treatment plan last, and when will I get pain relief?

On average, a single region of complaint (i.e., shoulder or low back) can reach a full resolution or maximum medical improvement in an average of 10 visits. Our practitioners typically see sustainable functional changes that are measured within 1-2 visits. Most clients begin to feel sustainable improvements in pain within 2-3 visits.

What conditions do you treat?

The most common conditions treated are disc bulges/herniations, sciatica, low back pain, hip bursitis, degenerative disc disease, shoulder impingement, rotator cuff problems, shoulder bursitis, neck pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, thoracic outlet syndrome, peripheral nerve problems, arthritis, tennis elbow, etc.

What are the benefits of your treatments?

Decreased pain, inflammation, stiffness, and nerve symptoms. Increased flexibility, strength, and function.

Do you offer payment options for treatment plans?

Yes, the details of your payment options will be known after your problem is evaluated , and it is determined that we will be able to help fix it by prescribing the necessary treatment plan.

Do you have experience with this type of chronic problem?

Regardless of the chronic condition, our experts have a wealth of knowledge about the most basic conditions to the rarest. In addition, our practitioners focus on being on the cutting-edge of training and advanced treatment modalities for the body to ensure your success.

Do you accept Insurance?

We try our best to work with most insurance companies, except for Medicare, Medicaid, Auto Injuries, and Workers’ Compensation. Every plan is different and we help to figure out coverage once we know for sure we will be able to help the patient. We are also able to process Health Savings Accounts and Flex Spending Accounts as well.
